Nightingale's mobile app supplements or replaces pen-and-paper data collection with individualized digital data sheets. The web interface utilizes data captured via mobile to automate time-consuming processes like graphing and reporting, and guides decision-making to optimize client outcomes. Cloud-based collaboration features allow care teams, parents, and administrators to communicate and monitor clients' progress in real time.

Nightingale allows practitioners to fully customize the data capture and analysis process via an intuitive drag and drop design system. This feature allows practitioners to maintain their current workflow, unlike other attempts at digitizing this process which promote a one-size-fits-all model.

Currently, Nightingale's primary focus is on supporting practitioners, including applied behavior analysts, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, who work with the 1.5 million Americans living with autism.
