Nextflag is a newborn startup in Florence, Italy, the hub of Rennaissance culture and city that offers a wonderful human-scale lifestyle. However, just like most tourism-intense cities, the tourist traps are around the corner. So why not have a platform where you can see where your friends have been, and having their opinion (without star-system reviews) count more than what a random user on a random travel blog said? After all, we all have different priorities, and each user will be responsible for its choice. However, at Nextflag we feel that a personal referral is worth more than a thousand 5-star reviews. By creating a community of people that connect around a shared interest of uploading qualitative content, we aim to become the new standard while browsing a new city, or just simply planning a trip. Each user will have the opportunity to create its own digital wishlist/wanderlust agenda, so they will never have to look for the list of places someone recommended on their notepad! We currently have a Minimum Viable Product built in React Native, and it's undergoing the final touch to be approved on the two major app stores. By adopting a lean approach to all things business, we also have the opportunity to relocate to another location if the benefits (bureaucracy, proximity, access to resources etc.) are worth it.
