We are a tech start-up developing multi-sensory IoT devices with AI for people with learning disabilities & motor skills impairment. We target public & private schools and health care institutions. An average K-12 school would spend $6,600 for assessment and intervention tools over a three-year period. Because of the lack of intelligent tools, and the schools spend an additional $210,000/yr in labor cost, bringing the total cost to $212,200 per school year. There are more than 130,000 private & public K-12 schools, and over 119,000 health care clinics in the US. Just for schools, the total cost in tools and labor equals $21.2B annually. Research demonstrates that the majority of children with learning disabilities have multiple conditions. Specialists often struggle as tools don’t cover more than one condition. The lack of integration of screening, assessment & intervention apps/tools makes their job very time-consuming. We have a clear path to revenue Our key advocates are experienced local specialists who have a strong connection with local health care institutions & Santa Clara County School districts’ management teams. Initially, we will sell our first systems to regional markets for pilot testing, followed by national expansion. For public schools, the sale cycle lasts 3-5 months with the earliest start in February. During other time periods, we would target private schools and health care institutions, with a much faster sale cycle. Two re-sellers have signed up so far and will partner with other tool providers to get even more distribution channels.
