NEOVEL Technologies develops stretchable video displays. We advance current organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology by replacing all rigid and opaque components with innovative elastic and transparent nanomaterial counterparts. The result is a transparent and elastic OLED (TE-OLED) video display with the functionality of a TV, yet a stretchable form factor. TE-OLEDs achieve a 10x improvement in mechanical elasticity when compared to state-of-the-art curved displays.
TE-OLEDs penetrate a current technological gap in the semi-flexible display market, providing enhanced flexibility with the addition of elasticity. The increased elasticity provides significant added value to wearable electronics, including improved form factor, enhanced versatility of the user interface, and product differentiation.
