We have created MATT which is fueled by Computer Vision and Machine Learning methods. It can capture multiple dimensions of each grain from a sample and then identifies its properties.
MATT can be used by each and every stakeholder in agriculture trade. From farmer to trader to processors to end user, the quality of produce is of tremendous importance. It lets the farmer know the exact quality of their produce thus improving their bargaining power. It enables the trader to know the quality of any produce from any location without physically travelling there. It enables institutions to make informed trade decisions. And it enables the end user to actually test the quality of what they are consuming and how nutritious the product is.
Presently MATT is operating out of a hardware body but we intend to make a mobile based solution that can sit in anyone's pocket and make their purchase more informed.
