NearApp is a social app built for real life — for the moments when you notice someone in public, feel the impulse to connect… and freeze.
Most people never make the first move, even when they want to.
The result? Missed connections, lost opportunities and social isolation in places full of people.
NearApp solves this by letting users connect with people who are within their visual range — in the same café, gym, library, park or coworking — without the awkwardness of walking up to a stranger.
You see someone, open NearApp, and if they use the app too, you can send a message safely, privately and instantly.
This is not “another dating app.”
It is a real-world social connector designed to break the psychological barrier of initiating conversations and to help people build meaningful relationships in everyday environments.
The problem we solve:
• Fear of initiating conversations with strangers
• Increasing social anxiety and loneliness, despite physical proximity
• Missed real-life opportunities due to hesitation
• Existing apps focus on online swiping, not real-world connections
Why now:
People spend more time in public spaces but interact less than ever.
The world needs tools that bring human contact back to the offline world.
NearApp is positioning itself exactly at this intersection: technology that supports natural, real-time, real-world connection.
Our progress:
• Registered company (PSA) in Poland
• Completed UI design and partial MVP + prototype
• Strong user validation — many users from other social apps want this solution
• Existing press coverage from local media
• Ready to build a full version (6–8 months development plan)
We are currently raising capital to complete NearApp and launch it to the first 10,000 users.
