Native is an on-demand language-learning marketplace that provides language learners with a means to connect directly with a language tutor through their smartphone or tablet. Much like a person can summon a taxi with uber, hailo, can order food through a food ordering app, now they will be able to order a language tutor instantly! The benefit to the language provider is supplementary income during times that they are not working, leveraging excess supply globally. In addition the best way to learn about a country or society is through that country’s language. Native is currently available to all native language speakers, however will be focusing on English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French and Spanish. The benefit for the language learner is that can now connect directly with a native language speaker with which to practise their language learning whenever and wherever they wish to.
