NanoWatt Design careers

NanoWatt Design was founded in 2011 to commercialize low-power semiconductor technology developed at the University of Arkansas. In collaboration with a $5B defense/aerospace partner, NanoWatt applied its expertise to image processing, and the company continues to work on defense-related contracts.

The new Austin team is taking NanoWatt's "Sleep Convention Logic (SCL)" into commercial products and growing the company into a leader for power-efficient computing. The SCL technology supports self-timed circuits that can operate down to extremely low voltages to consume 80% less energy. In addition to design services for SCL technology, NanoWatt is developing its own processor chips to prove the technology in silicon and launch a new vision-processing architecture.

The company remains in stealth mode, but we will soon make a big announcement about NanoWatt's entry into the vertical market for low-power smart cameras.
