To whom it may concern; My name is Kwame Boler, and I would happily endorse Junior Smith, Peter Shin, and their company, MyVoice, for the Techstars - Washington D.C. Accelerator. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Junior and Peter for nearly a year – what inspired me to volunteer and assist them on their journey was their mission and incredibly compelling story. While advising MyVoice, Junior and Peter rose to any challenge faced, professionally complement each other, and consistently exceeded my expectations. They operate selflessly, tirelessly, and in the interest of positively disrupting politics in this country. They’ve shown great humility, and while incredibly sharp, they’re also quick to seek advice and listen to others – I’ve enjoyed watching them grow from two guys with an idea into promising leaders with a working MVP. Outside of their vision and solid problem-founder fit, they’re also highly customer-focused. Junior and Peter have invested quite a lot of time talking with their customers to understand how to scope their product. They’ve also done the competitive analysis and research necessary to create a differentiated business model and foster partnerships with underrepresented communities to best secure MyVoice’s success. Finally, with the midterm elections happening mid-program, the timing could not be more ideal. As a direct result of the elections, the MyVoice team will have strong tailwinds behind them. With their primary goal being to take their private beta into public launch in-program, the Techstars network can fan the flames and provide them with the necessary guidance and support to compound their success. For all these reasons, I extend my highest recommendation – we would be fortunate to welcome Junior, Peter, and the MyVoice team to the Techstars family.
