We are offering a platform technology that allows for high-sensitivity multiplex detection of proteins from minimal sample in a dramatically high-throughput fashion using DNA next-generation sequencing technology (NGS). Our technology couples the sensitivity of immunoassays with the throughput of NGS instrumentation to provide an assay that allows 300,000 proteins to be analyzed a day from thousands of samples on a single instrument. Indeed, the reliance on antiquated, narrowly focused, and cost-prohibitive proteomic technologies has bottlenecked discovery of the role of proteins in human pathologies, thereby limiting the rate of effective therapeutic developments. Although our multiplex proteomic approach is designed for NGS platform independence, we highlight its direct integration into the heavily used Illumina DNA sequencing workflow, which generates $1B in annual revenue from the sale of NGS reagents alone. We foresee our technology as the catalyst for a proteomics revolution.
