MyData Global is an award-winning international nonprofit with its headquarters in Finland. The purpose of MyData Global is to empower individuals by improving their right to self-determination regarding their personal data. Our domain is a unique combination of business, innovations and human rights in the digital world. At the moment, we’re a team of six, based in Finland and Estonia and our 600 members come from nearly 40 countries on six continents.

MyData events are not the end-goals themselves, they are tools for change. The thought leadership and community around human-centric personal data has been developing through the four international conferences (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) held in Helsinki, Finland. In 2020, we’re going truly global, with four regional events in different corners of the world – Berlin, Nairobi, Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro.
