Murmur is hiring an experienced social media & community manager to own the brand strategy & day-to-day operations centered around social listening & engagement efforts. This is an incredibly strategic and creative role and requires someone with a keen interest in (and appreciation for) emerging tech (like blockchain and AI) and a flair for communicating with smartly. Role 1. To own and implement the brand strategy on social media platforms by way of strategically written posts and media to drive engagement, deepen brand awareness across target audiences, and impact retention rates.  2. To advocate the brand on strategic social platforms in an effort at evangelizing the brand and cultivating relationships with important users and partners, measured by an increase in brand lift, signups, & app downloads. 3. To leverage opportunities to grow conversations about Murmur, spread awareness, and impact app adoption. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and will serve in the capacity of a day-to-day operational lead.  Responsibilities 1. Develop and own overall messaging and community engagement processes (listening, response, etc). 2. Partner closely with our Customer Experience Team to ensure synergy. 3. Ensure programs and content map to the brand strategy. 4. Manage content calendar, budget, measurement, and operations. 5. Act as the leader and liaison between creative and product teams. 6. Develop and manage strategic relationship with external partners & promoters. Experience and Skills 1. 2+ years leading social media programs on channels like Twitter & Reddit. 2. Working knowledge of social media tools & analytics platforms. 3. Extensive experience in building and managing communities, including message development. 4. Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced working conditions Note: Project management experience and experience working with frontier-tech products (eg. AI and blockchain applications) is desirable but not necessary
