Our mission is to teach children the 10,000 words they need to succeed. We are building a world class, animated word game engine that will enable it to re-imagine the dictionary and produce word learning games. Our first app is going to launch early next year and is a first-of-its-kind animated game for kids aged 3-6, designed to accelerate their vocabulary and introduce them to a new world of learning. Combining this with our beautifully illustrated, data-driven educational print products – from our social and narrative journeys to our Storyteller’s Dictionary and beyond – Mrs Wordsmith is on an exciting journey to revolutionise education and make kids from London to Beijing fall in love with learning. This is vocabulary building that works. The company is venture backed by leading UK, US and Chinese investors. We recently raised an $11.5 million round of funding.
