Microplastics from textile waste in liquid discharges are and act very
similarly as smog in the air. Therefore, we adopted the classification
of this particulate waste as "plastic smog".

Phase 1 - Separation and collection of plastic smog from municipal
and marine-based operations (cruise ships, navy) treated wastewater
effluent and/or greywater.

Phase 2 - Use of the collected plastic smog to make value-added
products from the collection, processing and recycling of
microplastic textile waste.
