MOTAWILL careers
What we are building
MOTAWILL (founded in Dubai, operating in South Africa) is building a fully integrated Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and electric mobility ecosystem purpose-built for commercial fleets. We provide the complete infrastructure needed to electrify delivery, logistics, and ride-hailing operations across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Our ecosystem consists of four proprietary pillars:
Smart electric motorcycles optimized for heavy commercial use.
Cloud‑connected, semi‑solid lithium batteries designed for high-temperature resilience.
Automated swap cabinets deployed at strategic urban nodes.
Real‑time fleet management software for telemetry and route optimization.
What hard problems we are solving
Transitioning to electric vehicles in emerging markets faces two massive bottlenecks for commercial fleets: crippling upfront capital expenditures (CAPEX) and severe operational downtime. We solve both:
1. The CAPEX Barrier (Financial Problem):
Logistics businesses operate on thin margins and cannot afford massive upfront costs to buy EVs and spare batteries.
Our Solution: A zero-upfront cost model. We shift fleets from a heavy CAPEX burden to a predictable pay-as-you-go OPEX model.
2. The Charging Downtime (Operational Problem):
Delivery fleets must move 24/7. Waiting 4-6 hours for a battery to plug-in charge destroys their unit economics and daily revenue.
Our Solution: Sub-2-minute battery swaps. A rider simply pulls up to our swap cabinet, swaps the depleted battery for a fully charged one in under 120 seconds, and is immediately back on the road.
By solving these hard problems, MOTAWILL delivers drastically reduced fuel expenses, lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and 100% predictable operational uptime for fleets in some of the world's most demanding environments.
