At Moss we're building an all-purpose, visual workspace for creative teams to thrive in a post-desktop world.

The creative workflow is broken. The desktop is still our primary workspace, but it's a decades-old system that was never built for creatives. Files & folders enforce a rigid structure that is fundamentally incompatible with the free-form, messy-by-default creative process. Today, inspiration is scattered across the web, working files are becoming app-specific, assets are stored both locally and in the cloud, while sharing is it's own siloed process. As our work moves online, creatives are split between an archaic desktop architecture and siloed, web-based workflows.

As founders, we've experienced this splintering effect firsthand—we're creatives with extensive experience in the world of visual communication and we're building Moss to address fundamental problems in modern creative workflows.

Moss reimagines the desktop as a collaborative, visual workspace for creative teams. It's a space where inspiration meets organization, aggregating everything from local files and folders to online reference boards and web-based assets. Right now, we are focused on abstracting files and folders, but we're laying the foundation for the future of the creative process.
