There is a lot of Data within Ag, but the data sets are large and cumbersome, and are really only created as a band-aid to an existing problem.
We are building Smart Machines, with embedded sensors and on-board Edge-AI that can analyse data in real time within the field, and make real time decisions.
Our first product is a Smart Seeder, that monitors soil properties, and adjusts seed placement for best crop outcomes.
The technology will increase crop yields by 5~8%, and reduce fuel burn by as much as 15%.
On a farm size of 5,000 hectares, and an increase to crop yield of 5%, the machine could pay for itself in the first season.
