modum.io is monitoring all necessary data during the transport of medicinal products by combining cost effective IoT sensors with the blockchain technology. The technology ensures data integrity guarantees the execution of the regulation check. Upon delivery a smart contract is executed, to ensure compliancy. Once in the blockchain the data is proven to be immutable. The results are publicly accessible and immediately reported back to the the receiver as well as to the distributor.

As part of the picking and packing process the modum sensor device is activated and paired with the shipment id using an Android App. During the shipment the sensor is measuring and recording all necessary environmental data (temperature, humidity, lux, shock, …). When the recipient accepts the shipment all data is transferred from the sensor device to a smart contract in the Blockchain.

We offer our solution in a hassle free “pay per shipment“ model. The costs are around $ 5.- per shipment.
