We're looking for a product focused, hand-on, lead engineer. We're looking for a full-stack engineer who can work closely with the CEO to translate ideas into features. We're looking for somebody who is passionate about the alternative parenting business and wants to build something that can fundamentally change how we look for mates. This person should have grit, creativity, and a lean startup mentality. Roles and responsibilities: Manage day to day development and outsourced resources Work to formulate and execute product roadmap Develop a testing strategy to ensure the quality of the application Interview and hire new developers Build the application across the full stack Requirements: At least 5 years experience building a scalable backend system in a language like Node.js At least 2 years experience building frontend / mobile in React / React Native At least 5 years experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Redis) At least 2 years experience with queuing / pubsub technologies At least 5 years experience working in the Cloud (e.g. AWS) Bonus: Experience building out and consuming GraphQL APIs Experience building out a recommendation engine (for dating) Experience building React Native in Expo
