MNPHARM is one of the first Public Benefit Corporations (PBC) in Minnesota. A for profit with a stated social goal of: Advancing Plant Based Medicine to Address Significant Public Health Challenges.

We are a contract manufacturer of recombinant proteins including antibodies and vaccines, using a unique and proprietary process combining technology advances in controlled indoor agriculture, biochemistry and precision personalized medical treatments.

Using transgenic plants like tobacco, MNPHARM produces recombinant proteins in 6 days that could take up to 6 months using traditional mammillary methods. Our methods of using transgenic plants are safer, faster and have a lower production cost bringing down the cost of medical treatments. Speed and safety will have broad impact in human health, animal health and bio-science industrial products.

Our process converts the plant into a “factory” to produce proteins and antibodies.

We are working with the Mayo Clinic and other researchers.
