Startups, media, and investors tend to focus on new platforms and what can be built on top of what’s new, catchy and getting real traction. We don’t focus as much on addressing big problems that are still in need of a good solution. Don’t get us wrong, platform-centric or feature-centric companies are much needed and they create amazing things. What we’re saying is that there are not enough companies working on old problems that were tried before but never became successful. Why is it like that? Because they don’t get the same amount of hype and attention anymore, which makes it hard for them to grow. Well, Mixely is all about solving big problems. We simply aim to connect like-minded people. We’re focused on only one community right now. A startup community. But we’ll be expanding to others as soon as we’re ready.
