Since 2012, MITA Ventures was the first fund operating in Mexico with a cross-border thesis supported by strong relationships with Silicon Valley mentors, advisors, and investors coupled with significant relationships and direct business experience in Mexico. MITA Ventures provides capital and strategic mentorship to early-stage technology startups in Mexico with global growth potential, as well as for proven Silicon Valley companies expanding into the Mexico/LatAm market. MITA Ventures employs a technical focus, with key sectors being AI/machine learning, blockchain, and IoT/connected devices. MITA Ventures Fund I closed in 2014, and MITA Ventures Fund II is currently being raised.
