MiniGrid's mission is to provide a cost-competitive and environmentally friendly grid and utilities substitute for rural and isolated land through a tightly integrated transportable, scalable, and reimagined 'mini-grid' in hopes that our product will broaden rural living, facilitate rural hospitality, and support rapid access disaster relief; in short, we are decentralising and democratising utility access to a portable alternative. We will tightly integrate solar, satellite, water collection and purification, and other auxiliary utilities into a portable package to deliver a complete, mobile, and cost-effective solution. Our cost competitive and commodious solution will incentivize remote communities to live off our renewable utility and energy system and in turn decrease their carbon footprint; our product will push for a greener planet.

We are also residents at the best-in-class, world-renowned Incubator called MassRobotics. MassRobotics is an independent, non-profit organisation serving as the innovation hub for robotics and connected devices. Through programming and events, MassRobotics help bring together innovative start-ups and existing technology organizations to nurture the next generation of talent and promote economic growth and innovation. Residence at MassRobotics provides huge validation and a massive stamp of approval for a start-up when approaching investors. Additionally, MassRobotics has a hugely extensive network of investors and industry experts that can be leveraged. Being a resident at MassRobotics gives us full access is to one of the largest and most diverse robotics labs in Massachusetts, housing huge fabrication suites, electrical engineering labs, and in house industrial automation trial facilities just to name a few.
