Internet and WiFi are critical to every business. We believe every building should come with internet, networking, and WiFi. Just like water, gas, and electricity, the internet is a fundamental utility. Meter is building this utility; one for which there is no antecedent. This is a long-term endeavor which will require us to solve many unique challenges together. Dealing with internet service providers (ISPs,) vendor selection, hardware recommendations, software compatibility, and more is a complicated and expensive process. Meter is building the software and hardware solution to make getting online easier for businesses. Unlike traditional internet and networking solutions, Meter’s approach is vertically-integrated across engineering and operations. We believe that the people who build your network should be the ones responsible for it. We design and manufacture our own hardware, develop the entire software stack, and manage our users’ network by providing 24/7 support. You’ll be working on a team with other experienced engineers and operators - people who have helped scale successful companies previously and understand how to get stuff done, have interests outside of work, and work efficiently so they have time to enjoy those interests.
