METAFOTO careers

METAFOTO is a web & mobile based marketplace for photos. Our clients put up photo missions with very specific requests for bulks of photos and we distribute the requests to our crowd of contributors.

For photo buyers this is the inverse of a stock photo platform: No more browsing through heavily used material but request individual, up-to-date and authentic photos that you cannot get from any stock photo archive today. We also offer them at a fraction of the cost of a professional photographer taking advantage of our crowdsourced approach.

For our contributors we are the first place to reliably earn money using their smartphone. They don’t have to be professional photographers! We sell 2 of 3 uploaded photos on average and they can achieve equivalents of an hourly wage up to 30€.

Since April 2,450+ active photographers have uploaded 16,500+ photos. We have acquired 45,000 EUR in photo demand, another 60,000 EUR are committed by our clients. 6,000 EUR actually paid out to our users.
