The OTT gold rush has created a problem for consumers – a heavily-fragmented communications landscape. More than 50 new messaging apps joined the fray in 2014 alone. People have become buried under a dozen different communication streams. Since everyone has their own preferences for how they like to communicate, reaching people or organizing events is as difficult as herding cats.

What we've done is made a "meta-app" that sits above the fray – a digital directory called Wing that lets you efficiently control how people reach you. It's a cloud address book that enables other apps. Wing is built around two unique & powerful features – granular privacy controls and communication preferences.

This idea of preferences greatly simplifies the fragmentation problem. When you want to reach someone, Wing uses both parties' preferences to find the best method to "complete the call", and then automatically launches the corresponding service. Our users never need to worry about who uses what.
