Menthol Protocol is a decentralized sustainability protocol that will automatically power user or dApp transactions with verified renewable energy and carbon credits from around the world. Users can even offset their off-chain emissions and/or energy consumption to go cooler.

Menthol Protocol uses sophisticated bots that automatically track user/dApp activity, calculate the associated emissions and energy consumption and procure tokenized green assets for a price typically available only to institutional buyers. Also, Menthol Protocol combines regenerative finance with decentralized finance by integrating with popular decentralized lending protocols, collecting the generated interest and using it to offset your emissions.

Currently, we are a team of 7+ individuals (and growing!). The founding team also have experience with blockchain-based sustainability for the enterprise space and previously backed by ConsenSys and Draper University VC.
