Culture overview
Our primary focus is to hire people who match our company culture. We're passionate geeks and each of us is good at what we do to some degree. We're also very curious about other fields and tend to ask a lot of questions from teammates even if it's just for enhancing our general knowledge. Asking questions, asking for help, knowing how to find answers and resources online, communicating effectively, and being independent - these are the top qualities we look for. We don't micromanage and we don't expect you to overwork or work on weekends and public holidays. We don't even have any systems in place for tracking how many hours you work. Our focus is on the work you do - as long as you communicate well, plan your work well, and are able to hit deadlines, we're happy. There will be the occasional crunch time (usually around collaborative deadlines) but we usually plan for it. We're currently self-funded and our focus is on getting our first prototype built. If you're a person who's good at something but is able to rapidly pick up new skills and adapt to new challenges, we'll be a great fit.
