Medzoomer is an on demand prescription delivery service that can deliver a patients medication, through an app on their phone. Our business model looks very similar to Door Dash or Grub Hub as we have a network of couriers available for our user base and pharmacy partners.
The pharmacy space has not been optimized by todays standards and with the use of our technology we will have a direct impact on the ever growing medication adherence problem in the US.
For Patients
-37% of patients surveyed in a nationwide study communicated that they’ve left a prescription at a pharmacy, due to the inconvenience of a pick-up.
-35 % of primary patient medicalion non-adherence is due to patients not having time to travel to a pharmacy, not having access to reliable transportation or simply forgetting to pick up their prescriptions.
-10 % of hospitalizations are avoidable due to patients failing to take medications or non-adherence, causing 125.000 Deaths and $300 billion in avoidable costs to the U.S. healthcare system annually.
For Pharmacies
+ Medzoomer is giving independent pharmacies a chance to compete with the big chains. Our services have shown to increase a pharmacies revenue by over 18% after joining our platform. Our partners always say that this is the most cost efficient form of targeting marketing available. The same reason big chains like Taco bell and McDonalds are on Uber Eats and Door Dash, is why pharmacies join our platform instead of building out their own service.
+ Our drivers never have access to prescription info and are certified and vetted through Safety Pin, a national background checking software.
+We also use FDA approved tamper evident envelopes so the courier can not gain access without the consumer knowing.
