In 2018, when the opportunity to start Mayvue presented itself, Josh Lang had a decision to make. To start the company, he would need capital. And capital would need to either come in the form of an outside investment or he could sell the house that his family had spent the past several years turning into their dream home. For Josh, the decision was easy. For the past 10 years, under different banners, Josh had been building a hand-picked team. That team worked tirelessly alongside AASHTO and state DOTs to make the AASHTOWare BrM product the primary bridge management software for transportation agencies across the United States and internationally. The opportunity to continue the team’s shared mission as a new company was exciting and challenging. The sale of the dream home on Mayview Road birthed a bigger dream, one that is shared by the entire company – The team gets to work on our dream jobs every day. And the company’s name, Mayvue, serves as a permanent reminder of just how rewarding hard work and sacrifice for the greater good can be.
