We have been bringing different 3D characters since the mixed reality’s inception
However, we have been constantly asked by the customers to bring humans to 3D and we used to say: “It’s too expensive”. So we developed a method for capturing humans that is work of artificial intelligence, not of 3D artists and programmers. We trained neural networks to reconstruct the 3D head and body from a 2d video stream. Transmitting people in 3D as holograms is a generational leap in eliminating the distance between us. According to Forbes, it is a trillion dollar goldmine.
