Matheka careers

Matheka helps public schools close the achievement gap by providing students with their own personal online tutor to work with them weekly. Our platform intelligently matches students and tutors, who we recruit & train, based on learning profiles, teaching requirements & availability.

Unlike traditional tutoring, Matheka takes care of all the admin, providing schools with analytics to track individual and cohort progress metrics for student engagement, math mastery and metacognitive learning. As we move beyond our MVP, we plan to build machine learning technologies that will augment both the tutor & learner’s experience to ensure the emotional and academic needs of the learner are met.

Our ultimate goal is to address education inequity whilst creating flexible employment/training opportunities for emerging talent in developing countries.
