People at Matchmaker
• We're a start-up trying a new approach to dating apps: we think finding connection of whatever kind is incredibly important, but fundamentally similar systems mean that nearly half of users have a bad time on existing apps - we're out to change that, and you can read more about how we intend to do that at www.introdate.co.uk • We're a new, small business that you would have a real role in shaping as (prospectively) our 4th employee: currently it's just chief executive Nicholas, CTO Josh and front-end developer Nithin, as well as occasional freelance support for market research and design • As a small business, we're open, honest and friendly. If something's bugging you about your job, we'll do our best to fix it. If there's somewhere you want to chip in, we welcome it. And as a tech-start-up, we're aware of some of the problems businesses like ours can have. Diversity is important to us, and, particularly as we grow, we want to put systems into place to mitigate unconscious bias and structural inequity. We want employees who work hard because they know that, almost all of the time, their evenings and weekends are their own. Particularly given the intimate nature of the information our customers disclose to us, in our product and in our business, we're committed to adopting Google's original motto of "Don't be evil".
