martini.ai is focused on bringing the power of deep learning and quant modeling to the fixed-income world.

Our differentiating edge is the use of machine learning and quantitative techniques to model the pricing of illiquid assets (specifically, corporate bonds and credit spreads). By dramatically improving the pricing of credit, we aim to better match credit liquidity providers to companies and businesses that are great credit risks. In particular, CFOs and corporate finance professionals can use our deep learning models to understand their company's risk profile and benchmark against peers. This can help lenders understand the business better and unlock cheaper credit.

The co-founders, Rajiv Bhat and Rohit Singh, are repeat entrepreneurs with backgrounds in deep learning and quant trading.

Rajiv was co-founder at social intelligence startup Mertado (YC W202) through its acquisition by Groupon. Later, he led data science at ad tech unicorn InMobi. He also worked at McKinsey and Kosmix and has a Ph.D. in Physics from Boulder.

Rohit was co-founder and CEO at Tech Square Trading, a quant hedge fund trading up to ~$300M daily. He is a research scientist at MIT and is affiliated with the Computer Science and AI Lan (CSAIL) there. He is the recipient of MIT's George M. Sprowls Award for Best CS PhD Theses and of Stanford's Christopher Stephenson Memorial Award for Masters Research in CS.
