As a maker, nothing is worse than having an amazing idea be condemned to the pages of a notebook because you don't have the tools, resources, space, knowledge or collaborators you need to turn that idea into a reality. Likewise, nothing is worse than being an entrepreneur and not being able to start your business due to high start-up costs and recurring, expensive overhead.
Maker District aims to be an all-in-one solution to these all too common problems. At almost 32,000 sq. ft., Maker District will be one of the largest nonprofit makerspaces and small business incubators in the country and it will be located in Grapevine, Texas. Our mission? To put tools and technology in the hands of the community.
