Madison Color careers
Madison Color started with a simple question from its founder, blind designer Mason Ewing: why should choosing an outfit depend on sight? The answer is a ready-to-wear brand where braille is part of the design itself, so blind and visually impaired people can identify colors and garment details by touch and get dressed with full independence.
Inspired by the Baby Madison universe, our collections bring bold color and streetwear energy to hoodies, t-shirts, caps and lifestyle pieces for men, women and children. Every piece is made in the USA from premium cotton.
Our next frontier is Luminous Braille™, a smart textile system invented by Mason Ewing and developed with Thorbok Tech, MEC's technology and aerospace company in Austin, Texas. It embeds luminous braille into intelligent fabrics to make blind and visually impaired people more visible in public spaces, guide them through crowded places such as stations and events, and support them in emergencies. Future versions are designed to add visual signals and connections to external devices for assisted localization. The research is published with certified DOIs on Zenodo, OSF and SSRN, with open resources on GitHub, a rare level of scientific backing for a fashion brand.
Madison Color is also stepping onto the pitch: soccer players wore the brand ahead of the World Cup, and ambassador Louis Lopez carries its message.
Madison Color is a subsidiary of Mason Ewing Corporation, a Los Angeles holding company.
Fashion for all. Freedom for everyone.
