Many financial institutions are approaching their data and modeling needs in the same way that they were 5 years ago. In particular, they have been slow to adopt the technological innovations spawned by cloud computing, big data and machine learning. We see an opportunity to help companies transition to this new landscape and in particular to apply new tools and technology to take mortgage analytics to the next level while dramatically reducing costs. The four founders have considerable experience in the mortgage market and in technology having held senior roles and managed large multi-year projects at a number of different top-tier firms. MachineSP was launched in August 2018 and is currently focused on the high speed processing of large datasets associated with the mortgage and housing markets.
