Lyfmap is a social network for saving and sharing memories for users age 50+, a highly under served market. Since every memory in your life happened at a specific GPS location, we use google maps as a tool to allow users to save all their memories, using text/photos/audio/video, at the map locations where they actually happened. Whenever any other user posts at any of those locations, all users who previously posted there will receive a notification, allowing all users to connect over the great locations of their lives. Over the next 30 years, the great majority of the current 50+ will pass on. And all their memories, and the billions of paper photos still here now, each one a time-slice of history, will disappear forever. Our mission is to save all that history where it happened. As our users are saving their history, historians will also be saving location based, pre-living history, with the merged goal of creating an historic timeline for every location on the planet.
