What are we doing Luna is on a mission to revolutionise the way that female assigned teens experience and talk about adolescence. We want to be the global teen app of choice when it comes to learning about our health, body and wellbeing, no more looking at Dr Google, Social Media or wondering in silence. In 2022, adolescence is still a taboo topic, education at schools has remained largely the same for the last 50 years (if not more) yet we are living in a misinformation crisis. This is not good enough and it is female assigned teens who are suffering the most. 1. They are 3x more likely than male assigned counterparts to struggle with their mental health 2. They use social media for an average of 4.8 hours a day; 3. 46% of them have reported not getting enough sleep because of anxiety; 4. 80% of them hide distress from their families or teachers We are not ok with this, so we’re doing something about it.
