LuftCar AARM startup is looking to hire a Chief Technology Officer, with possible cofounder opportunity. Responsibilities: The CTO will head technology development in below areas: a) air vehicle propulsion system, including sizing and down select of power modules and powertrain components and supply chain identification b) system integration, design for robustness and reliability c) all forms of validation including simulation and analysis, MVP build and testing d) meet all product development milestones Requirements: The CTO will be the chief technology 'hacker' who will be highly product focused and will drive product development from end to end. The successful candidate will leverage his / her subject matter expertise in product creation or acquire needed expertise to achieve product creation targets in a timely manner. The candidate will be measured on the ability to meet product milestones on time. Qualifications: PhD or MS in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerodynamics engineering from top engineering schools, with a strong passion for electric vehicles, aerodynamics, aviation, clean energy and systems integration. Minimum 15 years industry leadership experience Compensation: Equity during pre-seed duration and eventual salary / bonus as funding is raised. About LuftCar: LuftCar is building a Modular Autonomous Air and Road Mobility (AARM) vehicle with Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) capability that will provide uninterrupted air and road mobility. Market impacts are: 1) Zero emissions through H2 fuel cell and EV batteries 2) Reduced congestion and autonomous navigation in highly populated areas and intercity travel 3) Scalable vehicle design for private mobility, healthcare, emergency response, cargo & defense markets.
