LookingBus careers

LookingBus is a public transportation priority management system consisting of smart bus stops - Road Side Units (RSUs) that work synchronously with On Board Units (OBU) to alert bus drivers when riders with a priority, such as people with disabilities, are waiting at upcoming stops. In addition to alerting bus drivers, RSUs installed at the stops count pedestrians, allowing transit agencies to have better real time ridership predictions and more efficient trip planning. Recently, LookingBus expanded the RSUs to also notify autonomous shuttles when a rider with a priority arrives at the stop, preparing the shuttle to open the wheelchair ramp and initiating 2-way live agent communications.
