Home delivery for election ballots
Long Distance Voter will be the GrubHub of voting. Just like GrubHub lets you use your phone to bring food to your doorstep, Long Distance Voter will let let you use your phone to bring your ballot to your mailbox.

We launched in 2008 as a well-researched wiki for absentee voting information. We had over 500,000 visitors in our first six months. We quickly expanded into other aspects of voting, ultimately becoming a one-stop shop for accurate voting information.129 million Americans voted in the 2012 election -- 2 million of them visited longdistancevoter.org.

In 2014 we relaunched as a product organization committed to building best-in-breed civic engagement tools. We offer our tools at no cost to others in the voting space.

With the gutting of the Voter Rights Act, attacks on early voting hours and election day registration, and the passage of restrictive voter ID laws, our services are more essential than ever. We're fundraising with an eye to massively scaling by 2016.
