Our Mission is to provide everyone access to fresh, healthy, and affordable locally-grown produce. In pursuit of Our Mission, we are building a distributed network of farms capable of rapidly expanding to satisfy the growing demand for high-quality local produce. We have developed a scalable indoor farming system that grows 365 days per year in any geography or climate at industry-leading costs. Our first farms are located inside 40’ shipping containers and achieve 100x production densities of conventional farms. We use proprietary controlled-environment farming methods to produce high-value leafy greens using 90% less water than conventional agriculture without the need for pesticides or herbicides. We are committed to being the most innovative farming company in the world. In our first year of operations we figured out how to give plants perfect weather every day, year-round, in any part of the country. We are now boldly going where no farmers have gone before by integrating cutting-edge robotics, microbiology, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to revolutionize agriculture and push the boundaries of how top-quality produce is grown.
