Local Labor was created from frustration dealing with issues around the house and either not being able to get ahold of a competent contractor, or getting gouged in the pocketbook. None of the current directory services offered a simple, trustworthy, or transparent solution. Local Labor answers all of that in an easy to use format. Local Labor is different from Yelp or Angie’s List. The first is aggregation of reviews. Customers won’t be constrained to just one company. Why settle for only one when you can have them all? Another is no signup or email capture shams. We won’t force you answer tons of questions or buy credits, or leads just to see a couple contractors in your area. You answer a few questions and LL provides the customer with a no-cost, hassle free, tailored list to their specific needs. Finally, we deeply believe in giving back to the community. An optional survey at the service provider output screen will inform LL of the top issue in that community, and LL will donate a percentage to that cause. We can’t know the most pressing issue facing every community, but the customers living there can. We are a small group trying to take on the goliaths in the industry, none of which are great. Our initial market is in Southern California but will expand across the state in 2021!
