The video streaming industry is rigged. The existing business model squeezes billions of dollars out of users and content creators by charging commissions, service fees, and through push advertising, while content creators struggle to squeeze pennies. Content creators have been left out and users’ contributions have not been recognized. With blockchain technology, Lino is being created to challenge the traditional, centralized, video streaming platforms that currently exist.
