Presta’s customers are traditional financial institutions that conduct small business or commercial lending. Over 5,000 of these entities exist, lending over $650b in small business loans each year. The problem is, their manual and disjointed lending process inhibits their ability to scale and grow as their teams instead devote excess time to managing manual administrative, procedural tasks.

Presta’s all-in-one lending platform helps small business and commercial lenders streamline the lending process so they can spend more time with borrowers and less time on manual parts of the process that can be so time consuming today. We’ve interviewed over 80 community focused lenders and have pre-sold our product to more than 5 lenders in advance of our Q4 2022 launch.

With Presta, community-focused lenders will be able to continue catalyzing growth in their community by providing affordable capital to great local businesses on timelines that compete with other offerings on the market. These improvements in operating efficiency and customer experience will help them maintain and grow their loan portfolio.

Together, Presta's cofounders Leo and Peter have over 10 years of experience related to working in regulated spaces and addressing challenges related to access to capital. At the first company they founded together, The Opportunity Exchange, they learned how to sell in highly regulated spaces to public sector clients involved in public financings. The experience of having started, build, and exited a company prior to Presta has heavily shaped their approach to building this next business!
