The Role:

At Leap, the Retail Marketing Associate Manager plays a key role within the Brand Management team. They will report into the Retail Marketing Manager and work cross functionally to help deliver and amplify retail events, programming, and partnerships in order to generate traffic and increase sales at all Leap stores across the country. This person will be responsible for coordinating in store marketing activations and deploying other retail marketing tactics with the goal to drive performance in all stores powered by Leap. This person can expect to collaborate on all aspects of planning from ideating and developing new concepts, coordinating operational logistics and event production, vendor management, coordination with internal partners, creating briefing materials, timelines and tracking results & learnings.

This is a unique opportunity to work with both the team that's building Leap from the ground up to create the future of retail, and some of today’s leading digitally native brands including exposure to their CEO’s and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the store opening marketing strategy from concept to execution including but not limited to working with Leap brands to coordinate grand opening weekend activations, private launch parties, press previews and influencer events
Oversee management of detailed activation recaps including the tracking of KPI’s
Amplify Leap brands’ marketing via local executions by building relationships with local partners that will grow the customer base of Leap stores and serving as the point of contact for all of Leap’s mall and real estate partners as it pertains to local marketing initiatives
Manage digital footprints of Leap store locations including creating and maintaining Apple Maps, Google My Business, and Facebook pages on behalf of Leap brands
Coordinate new store photo shoots for each opening
Communicate with external vendors to secure cost efficiencies and maintain a consistent brand image in all messaging and activities
Work closely with the Retail Marketing Manager to develop strategies that scale across the platform and provide efficiencies for Leap brands

Preferred experience, skills & attributes:
3+ years in a B2C marketing role preferably with experience coordinating partnerships and planning consumer facing events, experience in retail a plus
Experience creating and developing new initiatives that tie into department and company goals

Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable within fast paced startup environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills & excellent interpersonal skills in order to work well cross functionally with a multitude of personalities and varying skill sets
A proactive problem solver with a willingness to wear multiple hats and a “no task is too small” attitude
Ability to embrace ambiguity, competing deadlines, and the need to adapt and pivot as priorities change
Interested and curious about the retail landscape, emerging brands, trends, and the local happenings in Leap’s cities and neighborhoods
