"Lawcunae" is a law repository for lawyers and law students to carry out academic research on the basis of document available from various sources.

This portal intends to provide a search engine to search through the entire repository and provide intelligent search results based on domain-specific law categorization techniques to assist plain-text matching. An annotation feature shall be present to annotate/comment on law documents available through the repository.

These annotations and comments will then further be used to understand the document and assist search. The user profiles will provision for the user to upload his own articles as well as help him to maintain a workspace of documents he is currently studying and an address book where he can store contacts of fellow users if available.
