At Latent we are disrupting traditional animation with a technology we denote "Generative Physics Animation", which allow virtual worlds characters to be physics-based and decide their movements in real time instead of loading them with thousands of handcrafted animations. Leveraging the latest advancements in Reinforcement Learning and Generative Modelling, the resulting characters interact physically with the environment in an emergent manner, increasing immersion while dramatically reducing development time.
