Our end goal: the complete automation of Language Tutoring. Imagine: AI generated Morgan Freeman, or Harry Potter, that can teach you English, correct your mistakes and give you a personalized learning plan.
Technically, this is extremely difficult and expensive. No one is going to give a 25-year old founder the $10mln required to build the end product, so we have to use a staggered plan to get to the end goal. The first stage is to focus on spoken assessment, scoring and content recommendation and then to license this to existing English education platforms such as DuoLingo, Babbel, etc. ie: AI for education SaaS.
Our current core product is our LCAT: AI offered via SaaS, charged per API call. This tool is able to assess a student's spoken English proficiency: identifying phoneme-level pronunciation mistakes, giving subjective scoring and being able to offer personalized content recommendations. We use a unique, unannotated approach, no annotations required.
